I read your reviews before ordering this personal coffee maker with travel mug. I nearly didn't, because there were people talking of the machine overflowing and the coffee not that they the problem that the machine overflowed and the coffee being a bit on the cool side

I must say that I don't regret it. Just to be on the save side I put a tray under the coffee maker. I also use the number 1 Mellita filter as suggested in the manual. I must say the machine is very reliable and does a good job.

After having used the coffee maker for about 2 months, I use a normal coffee scooper to take 1.5 scoops of Folger's Classic Roast and put it into the filter. I fill the cup with water to about half an inch from the top, pour the water into the machine, put the cup in place and turn it on.
The result is a hot, good tasting cup of coffee.

The machine makes a big cup of coffee in great sized mug and is especially suitable for people that want a quick cup of coffee without the hassle of making a big pot.
