My Braun KF590 works like it did the first day

I have owned my Braun KF590 for a little more than 3 years, and it continues to work just as well as it did the day that I first bought it.

The temperature of the freshly brewed coffee is hot enough to please anyone, and it is just a little too hot for me. However, all I have to do is let it cool for about 30-45 seconds and the coffee is just the right temperature. I also enjoy iced coffee and during the summer months I just add a few ice cubes to my cup.

If I leave the coffee in the carafe I do not have to worry about the temperature getting too cold-too quickly. While I could adjust the automatic shut-off setting to as brief a time as 20 minutes, I find that the 2 hour default setting is perfect.

I love the carafe because it is lightweight and well designed. Although there is a little noise during the brewing process I do not find it annoying. The easy maintenance is another plus that makes it easy to recommend this coffee maker to others.

My only complaint is that I had to really study the programming instructions for several hours to understand how the machine should be operated. Once I practiced making coffee 3 times I was fairly competent with the Braun K590, but I did have to keep those instructions close at hand for the first week.
